Don’t get caught out this Christmas thanks to Amazon’s Delivery Deadline Calendar

I hate to ruin your day, but Christmas day is just 20 days away. That’s right, in a little less than three weeks from now you’ll be expected to have bought presents for friends and loved ones, as well as the Christmas turkey and all its trimmings. If like me, you have soothed yourself with the mantra of “No need to worry, it’s next month“, it’s now time to get moving. While you can buy pretty much everything from Amazon, something to keep in mind, even if you have Prime, is that the online retailers’ delivery times tend to slip a little at this time of year. With this in mind, Amazon has launched a handy little Holiday Delivery Calendar to help you time things to perfection.

Amazon has listed a bunch of deadline dates for its various types of deliveries running up to Christmas Day itself.

Friday, December 15

  • Last day for Free Shipping by Amazon ($25 minimum order)

Monday, December 18

  • Last day for Standard Shipping

Friday, December 22

  • Last day for Two-Day Standard Shipping

Saturday, December 23

  • Last day for One-Day Shipping ($35 minimum order)

Sunday, December 24

  • Last day for Same-Day Delivery ($35 minimum order)
  • Last day for Free 2-hour Delivery with Prime Now (select areas)

Don’t forget, to take advantage of free one-day or even same-day shipping, you’ll need to have joined Amazon Prime, which you can do for $99 annually, or for just $10.99 monthly if you aren’t ready to make a year-long commitment to Amazon.Handily, you can cancel the monthly membership at any time of your choosing. If you do join Amazon Prime, you’ll not only get free two-day shipping from Amazon but also gain access to Prime Video, unlimited music streaming, unlimited photo storage, unlimited reading and more. You can sign up to Amazon Prime or just try it out for a month and kickstart your Christmas buying by clicking here.
