The BlackBerry KeyOne in Space Black is coming the U.S., but there’s just one place to get it from.
TCL, the company now manufacturing BlackBerry’s hardware, just announced that the Space Black-colored model is heading exclusively to AT&T. With the new color option, BlackBerry trades the silver trim from black. Otherwise it’s still the same phone announced more than six months ago.
The KeyOne features a 4.5-inch Full HD (1620×1080) IPS LCD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 12MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a 3505mAh battery, and Android 7.1 Nougat.
Pricing with the carrier is $16.67/mo for 30 months on AT&T Next, which is its payment plan for all devices. Sprint, meanwhile, sells the KeyOne for $22/mo for 18 months on Sprint Flex. The difference in price is caused by the number of months the full retail price is spread across. If neither carrier’s approach is appealing, you can purchase phone outright or go through another retailer for a GSM or CDMA variant.
AT&T will begin selling the BlackBerry KeyOne in Space Black online and in stores on Friday, September 1.
