LG’s infographic about slim bezels tells us what we already know

The launch of the G6 back at MWC 2017 represents a return to form for LG, with the Korean handset maker abandoning the unpopular Friends that appeared with the G5. This year, LG is all about rounded edges, the 18:9 aspect ratios, and of course, slim bezels. With that in mind, LG has published an infographic illustrating just how important large displays with minimal bezels are important to consumers.

It should come as no real surprise that the average smartphone user wants the biggest display possible with the phone still being comfortable to hold in the hand. According to data compiled by International Data Corporation (IDC), demand for phones with 5.5-inch or larger displays will outstrip demand for phones with smaller displays in 2018. The accumulated data says that users want big screens that remain easy to hold, with water and dust resistance and affordability thrown into the mix. As you might expect, the LG G6 and G6+ feature all the characteristics mentioned in the infographic we’ve embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
