No differences exist between the displays on the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 3T

OnePlus isn’t lying when it says “specifications don’t matter.”

The display is one of the most important areas for a phone, but OnePlus didn’t bother making any improvements from last year. Rolan Quandt, a mobile industry insider who has a proven track record, revealed that the OnePlus 5 announced this week and the OnePlus 3T introduced in 2016 have the exact same display. Both phones use an AMOLED display created by Samsung, and it really is unchanged because screen size is 5.5 inches each.

Talk Android will get its hands on the OnePlus 5 shortly. After attending last night’s pop-up event in New York City, the 2017 flagship was sent to headquarters. So expect an unboxing video and full review in the coming weeks.
