The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Coral Blue are coming to the U.S.

Wish you could get the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a different color? Your lucky day is coming. A color option previously limited to select countries will soon be offered in the United States.

Evan Blass, the mobile industry insider for VentureBeat, tweeted out a picture of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Coral Blue while saying it’s “US-bound.”

Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Maple Gold, Coral Blue, and Orchid Gray were the launch color options. Not all of them were released in every market. Now, with a long summer ahead, Samsung plans to revitalize the Galaxy S8 by introducing a color option U.S. consumers haven’t been able to buy. With the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung withheld the pink and blue variants until the warmer months as well.

It shouldn’t be much of a wait for the Coral Blue variant to arrive, and you should expect it to be an exclusive for a retailer like Best Buy.

Currently Coral Blue is available in Hong Kong only. But more importantly, the HK version is equipped with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM and dual SIMs none of which is headed to the States. Frankly, the color is the least exciting of those 4 advantages. Unless you’re using a clear case or none at all, you’ll never see the color beyond a glimpse at the edges or around the camera through the case cutout.

I own the HK version ;-) The cost….~$920 US. A far cry from the rumored $1100+ stories floating around.

I’ve been waiting to upgrade because I heard that the pink one is coming out, but really, what are the chances that the pink will come to the US? And will it be in the next month or not til next year??? My phone might die any day now…
