U.S. unlocked LG G6 is finally available, costs $699 but some retailers are already discounting it

Multiple retailers are now selling the U.S. unlocked model of LG’s 2017 flagship.

The G6 arrived in the United States last month with limited availability. Rather than following an industry trend, LG decided to let major carriers be the exclusive sellers of the phone. Anyone who wanted to buy the G6 would have to go through a carrier or get the international unlocked model from a third party. Today, though, the U.S. unlocked model is being sold through four online retailers. So you can set yourself from carrier restrictions.

Priced at $699, the U.S. unlocked G6 is being sold by Best Buy, Amazon, and B&H Photo. Some of them are currently doing a promotion, too, in which the phone is even less. For example, Amazon is selling the U.S. unlocked model for $628. Since we’re not sure how long that price will stand, we recommend buying the U.S. unlocked G6 from there as of now unless you have allegiance to another retailer.
