Samsung was working on a phone with a dual-camera setup, could’ve been the Galaxy S8+

A prototype of what is allegedly Samsung’s Galaxy S8+ was pictured online with a dual-camera setup once again. At least from the report, it’s a scrapped prototype that won’t be coming to market.

The idea is really neat — a dual-camera setup can bring a lot of great options to your camera-taking experience, so it’s a little disappointing the Galaxy S8+ wasn’t equipped with one.

The other takeaway from this leak is that this could be a Galaxy Note 8 leak. On the other hand, it was rumored multiple times that the Galaxy S8 would come with a dual-camera setup, but then we heard a report that Samsung was scrapping the idea.

At this point, it’s extremely difficult to tell what it is either way. But, if this indeed turns out to be a Galaxy Note 8 leak, we could see some serious camera improvements in Samsung’s next phone in the Galaxy Note line.
