Download Samsung’s Unpacked 2017 app to watch the Galaxy S8 livestream

In the midst of innumerable leaks, we have some official news about the upcoming launch of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, and it comes straight from Samsung itself. The handset maker’s Unpacked 2017 app has recently been updated to allow users to keep up to date with the Galaxy S8’s launch on March 29th.  Join us after the break for more details.

For those that will be attending the Unpacked event on March 29th in New York or the satellite event held in London on the same day, the locations can be accessed via the app. If you are lucky enough to be invited to attend the launch, you can tap your invite code into the app to access the QR code that you’ll need to show security to gain entry at the event.

If you haven’t been invited to physically attend the launch, cheer up, because you can always watch the event unfold, or unpack, rather, via the live stream on the app when it begins. Until March 29th swings around, though, there isn’t too much to see on the app other than a couple of teaser videos and the countdown on the opening screen that currently says there are another seven days to wait until the big event.

If you want to download the Unpacked 2017 app just follow the Play Store link provided below. In the meantime, you can keep up to date on all the latest Galaxy S8 leaks right here.
