The images come from GSM Arena, sent in from a Best Buy employee. As expected, the Watch Style will have the traditional circular form factor. You get a button on the right side of the smartwatch with standard options for straps in 20mm or 22mm.
The backside of the box doesn’t give us much more information than we already know. It does show that the devices were manufactured last month in Korea. And with an anticipated February 8 launch date and now images coming in from a Best Buy employee, it’s safe to say devices are already being distributed to retail partners.
We’ve already seen some renders of what the Watch Style will look and even a look into the price, but the images we’re seeing today are solely the packaging.
The Watch Style comes in at 10.8 millimeters thick, has swappable straps, and will be available in titanium, silver and rose gold, according to early leaks. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity have been mentioned in the past, but since the Watch Style isn’t the flagship model — the Watch Sport — there’s quite a few sensors we can expect missing from it.
Sit tight, folks. Only a couple more days and we’ll get the full and official rundown on Google and LG’s upcoming Android Wear 2.0 watches.
