The wait for Google’s new smartwatches by Android Wear 2.0 just got shorter.
Google, according to mobile industry insider Evan Blass, will actually launch the LG-made Watch Sport and Watch Style alongside the new version of Android Wear on February 8. It was originally believed that everything would debut on February 9. However, there seems to be a change of plans and now the launch will take place a day earlier.
When they do launch, expect the Watch Sport to be priced at $349 and the Watch Style to be priced at $249 in an effort to revitalize the platform. Existing smartwatches, too, are scheduled to get Android Wear 2.0 at some point in the future.
