Samsung appears to tease a new tablet in MWC 2017 invite

Samsung is sending out invites to its Mobile World Congress press conference on February 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Barcelona. Reports say we won’t see the heavily rumored Galaxy S8, but going by the invite sent out, we could see a new tablet.

Obviously there’s a lot of speculation here, but many are hoping its the Galaxy Tab S3, which will succeed the Galaxy Tab S2 generation. There’s really not much to go off of on the event image. The image appears to show a device larger than a smartphone, thus the Galaxy Tab S3 speculation. You can spot a physical home button, but that’s about it.

It actually wouldn’t be surprising if this was the Galaxy Tab S3, considering we saw a major specification leak of the upcoming tablet yesterday.

Either way, we’ll be at Mobile World Congress, so be sure to stay tuned with Talk Android, as we’ll be bringing you news of all the major gadgets at the event! Just to reiterate, the event is on February 26 in Barcelona at 7:00 p.m. local time. That translates to around 1:00 p.m. eastern time, so be sure to keep an eye out for Samsung’s official livestream around then!
