Netflix, Google Photos integration rolling out to some Google Home users

Netflix and Google Photos integration is finally rolling out for the Chromecast and Google Home, it seems. According to Android Police, it’s going live for a number of users, but doesn’t seem to be available for everyone just yet.

Google originally showed off Netflix integration in early October at its press event. Now, it’s finally rolling out to some users, presumably in a limited release for testing. I say “testing” because Android Police reports that it might not be ready for the public, citing issues with linking Netflix accounts. Or, it could be on a full roll out and there’s just a small glitch in the system that needs to be remedied.

But, if you want to try it out for yourself, you should see a “Videos & Photos” section in Google Home’s Assistant settings menu. In this section, you should be able to link up your Netflix account as well as enable or disable Google Photos.

Once again, not everybody has it, but it is rolling out, so you should see it soon.
