Been looking at Google’s new Pixel, but don’t want to shell out the premium price point? Then you might want to check out this upcoming Black Friday deal from Verizon.
Details after the break.
Come Thursday and Friday (November 25 through November 26), Verizon will let you buy a Pixel with 32GB or 128GB of internal storage for $10 and $15 per month, respectively. Normally for the 32GB model it’s $27.08 per month and then $31.24 per month for the larger 128GB model.
The way this will work is that Verizon will credit your account with the amount it takes to bring that monthly price down to $10 or $15, depending on what model you choose.
Unfortunately, it could take 2-3 bill cycles for Verizon to start applying the credit, so you may be stuck with the full monthly bill for the first couple of months. On the other hand, with this deal, you’d only be paying $410 for the Pixel, whereas prices normally start at $650 for the 32GB model.
It’s also worth noting that this does require you to purchase the Pixel on a device payment plan. You’ll also have to see the full 24 month contract through to the end in order to get the full credit.
Not interested in the Pixel? Verizon is also one of the new retailers carrying Google’s voice-activated speaker, Google Home. For Black Friday, Verizon will be joining a myriad of other retailers by discounting the speaker from it’s original $130 price point to just $100.
The Pixel XL isn’t included in this Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday discount.
