After LG announced the V20, the successor to its rugged-looking V10, many have been wondering when we’ll actually see the phone. The only information LG gave was “this fall,” and some rumors have indicated that October 21 would be the release date for it. But now, T-Mobile and AT&T are shedding some light on when we’ll see LG’s next big venture.
Hit the break for details.
T-Mobile and AT&T announced that the release date for the phone on their respective networks is October 28.
The LG V20 has a lot going for it, but one of the neat things is that it’s the first phone to run on T-Mobile’s all-new AWS-3 spectrum, otherwise known as band 66. AT&T hasn’t said if the phone works on any special bands outside of the usual ones.
To make things even sweeter, T-Mobile buyers will be able to get a free pair of Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 headphones with the purchase of a new V20. AT&T doesn’t seem to be offering a similar promotion.
Pricing has not yet been shared by T-Mobile, citing that that information will come later in the month. But, AT&T says it will cost $28 per month on a 30-month AT&T Next payment plan. We imagine it might be pretty similar on T-Mobile’s network, though.
