T-Mobile running #UnlimitedBaseball contest, offering up a year of free service

T-Mobile has kicked off a new contest dubbed #UnlimitedBaseball that will obviously appeal to baseball fans. The premise is pretty simple and all you’ll have to do to enter is to tag a photo on Twitter or Instagram with #UnlimitedBaseball and #contest, and you’re automatically entered into the contest. Oh, and you’ll automatically get a $5 MLBshop.com gift card, too.

Each week T-Mobile will select two entries to compete for a bigger prize. Other social media users will get to vote on the two entries to pick the winner, who will then be rewarded the big prize for that week.

  • Tuesday, October 11: Unlimited MLB.tv Premium for life
  • Tuesday, October 18: Tickets to ALL of YOUR favorite team’s 2017 home games
  • Monday, October 24: MLBshop.com $2,500 shopping spree

In addition to those tiers, each winner will also get a full year of T-Mobile ONE service. That’s a pretty compelling contest, even for non-baseball fans.

It doesn’t stop with the weekly prizes, though. After three weeks of the contest, then the three winners will compete again, and the winner of the three-way competition will get the grand prize of a trip to every game of the 2017 World Series, travel and accommodation included. I’m not sure what the total cost of that would come out to, but it’s definitely more expensive than a new smartphone.

If you’re a T-Mobile current or potential customer, you might want to jump on board just for the chance of free service for a year, but baseball fans should be especially thrilled here.
