We’re all very familiar with the ASUS ZenWatch and ZenWatch 2, but now it seems like the company is looking to launch another smartwatch, the ZenWatch 3, according to a recent FCC filing spotted by Ausdroid.
Those most interesting part of this documentation is that it seemingly indicates that the ZenWatch 3 will feature a round display, moving away from the prior square-body style. What leads us to believe that? The round FCC certified label, which will be placed on the rear housing of the device:
Aside from that, there wasn’t a whole lot of other information available from the FCC filing, though we are expecting it to come with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHZ), a 5-volt, 2-amp charger and it should come in Stainless Steel Black.
ASUS hasn’t scheduled any special event to announce the new wearable yet, but we’re expecting to see the ZenWatch 3 demonstrated at IFA early next month.
