Android has taken the market by storm. Manufacturers everywhere are trying their hand at producing the best Android phone. Motorola recently announced it will have 20 phones rolled out within 6 months. Electronics super giant  LG has announced a similar claim for the world to hear, but on a more reasonable level. “One year” says CEO Nam Yong. They won’t be all new phones, but instead, some phones will be ported to new carriers. LG has put its foot in the market with the Ally which hit the streets recently.  It seems with only half the year left, some of these phones won’t hit the streets until Summer 2011.

So far, LG has made an impression on the Android sect with its launch of the Verizon based Ally running 2.1 out of the box with its 1GHz Snapdragon processor similar to the recently released EVO 4G. While the Ally dates newer phones like the EVO  or the impending IPhone. It still competes with it on the battlefield making use of the HD (720p) video recording, 5MP  camera, Geo-tagging, and 3.5 inch AMOLED screen. It seems that LG is taking steps in the right direction of being a competitor in the Android market place.
