When we say “Dev Community, ” we usually mean XDA-Developers, and this case is no exception. The developers over at XDA have once again done something that the manufacturer hasn’t — brought Android 2.2 to the Motorola Milestone XT720. User Dexter_nlb has posted a ROM that reportedly has very few issues functioning as a stable Froyo ROM. Given that Motorola themselves proclaimed this phone will remain stuck with Eclair as the OS, we’re extra happy to see this coming together from the developer community.
