Best Buy will throw in a $75 GC if you buy a US factory unlocked Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung finally started selling factory unlocked Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices in the US, and Best Buy already has a promotion going for it. If you purchase either of the devices, which are currently priced at $669 and $769 respectively, you’ll get a free $75 Best Buy gift card with it. Not too shabby, especially if you do a lot of shopping at Best Buy. They’ll even ship the phones for free.

Keep in mind that these devices are completely free from any of the major four carriers, but they do still have all of the necessary radios and LTE bands to work on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile. Just pop in your SIM card and you’re good to go. That also means no carrier bloatware, and hopefully quicker updates down the line. If you don’t mind paying a little extra for the phones up front, this is absolutely the way to go on purchasing either of these phones. The only drawback is that you’ll be getting the Snapdragon model, not the Exynos model phone, but the tiny performance difference might not be worth the hassle of figuring out what carriers an international model will or won’t work on.

Our reviews found the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge to be some of the best smartphones that Samsung has ever made. Both of them have expandable memory and waterproofing, plus great battery life, excellent performance, and a top notch camera.
