If you’re a Samsung Captivate user and have been looking for an effortless way to get into custom ROM’s, or even if you’re a seasoned pro in the root and ROM department, you’ll definitely find some good use from this tool.  XDA member bay_wolf has assembled a very useful tool, placing all of the basic utilities for your device in one place.   Root your device with ease, download a custom ROM with very little effort.  The desktop application even allows you to side load applications onto your device.  The days of using multiple programs for all of this kind of functionality are over.  If you’re ready to give it a go, then head on over to the original thread for more information.  I think it would be extremely beneficial if they could customize and extend a tool like this for other devices as well.  Cough, cough…XDA.  And as always, don’t forget to leave us a comment below of what you think.

Most of the instructions are given to you by the program and are not needed to be written out here. If you find any part confusing, please comment in this thread and I’ll try to implement it in the next release and I’ll tell you what it means as a temporary solution.
