As of February 15th, Telus will begin selling its’ devices with the ability to unlock the SIMs on most handsets they carry. This is a great way to retain customers, because to take advantage of the offer, you need to have a good account standing with Telus for a minimum of 90 days. The unlock will only cost you $50, and will work for both GSM and iDEN devices. Smart.

Yeah… but $50? What an outrageous fee.
