MWC is not even here yet and we’ve already confirmed Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play is around the corner. We even caught a spot for its ad which aired during the Super Bowl yesterday, you can check it out after the break. Well, it’s time for carriers to start getting on board, and it looks like the first up to bat is O2 in the UK. O2 tweeted on their official Twitter account that the company would be carrying the device on their network, but no further details were given. So, for now, no word on cost or whether or not we will see this device hit US stores.
And it looks like according to a source over at Pocket-lint, they can “exclusively confirm” that Vodafone will be picking up the device as well. So, Im guessing no exclusivity for O2. In addition, Pocket-lint has also stated that they confirmed that Orange and T-Mobile UK are lined up to add the device to their arsenal as well. So, stay tuned to Talk Android as we dig a little deeper regarding North American support. Until MWC on the 13th, where the device will be further announced, check out a little hands on of the PSP Phone to hold you over.
