New leak shows off the features of Samsung’s Gear Fit 2

There’s been a spate of leaks for Samsung’s Gear Fit 2 in recent times, with the fitness band being shown off in a variety of colors, as well as some real-life images of the device and Samsung’s upcoming Gear IconX ear buds. Today’s leak shows the Gear Fit 2 in what is likely a promotional poster, which you can view after the break.

As you can see from the leaked image above, the Gear Fit 2 is shown off performing various tasks such as showing the time, monitoring heart rate (BPM), displaying fitness goals and how close you are to achieving them, and tracking your route via GPS. As you might expect from a fitness tracker, the Gear Fit 2 will also act as a pedometer, counting your steps, showing the rate of incline for your walk or run, as well as how many calories you’ve burned off along the way.

According to previous leaks, the Gear Fit 2 will sport a 1.84-inch AMOLED display with 4GB of internal storage, its processor is said to have a graphics chip embedded in it. It’s also likely that it will be water-resistant so it can be used for water-based activities. There are two buttons on right-hand side of the device, and the strap seems to be made of a rubber material.

It’s thought that Samsung will announce the Gear Fit 2 sometime in June although it isn’t known where it will be available, nor how much it will cost.
