A few weeks back we notified you that the LG V10 was being updated to Marshmallow in Turkey. Now we have confirmation that the AT&T LG V10 model is getting the treatment.

AT&T LG V10 owners are now receiving Marshmallow over-the-air, making it one of the last carriers to get it in the United States. The update began rolling out just a few days ago, meaning that everyone should have it by the end of next week. The update will bring all of the latest features from both LG and Google including doze mode for battery saving, Now On Tap for contextual awareness, and simplified app permissions to keep you in control of your data.

The update contains a major system overhaul so we recommend connecting to a nearby Wi-Fi network before beginning the installation process. You’ll also want to make sure at least 50% of battery life is in the tank. Step-by-step instructions on how to update is supplied on AT&T’s web page linked down below.
