RCA announced today a new 55-inch 4K Android TV set, which will be available in June along with some smaller and larger models of the TV.

This 55-inch 4K Android TV is capable of a refresh rate of 120Hz, but also has a built-in engine that will enhance 1080p video. This is basically your normal everyday TV, only its built with Google’s Android TV, giving you access to a larger variety of content and entertainment.

The TV is in production now, and will hit stores like Target, Walmart and Sears when it launches in June. It will sell for a shockingly low $600. That’s a sweet deal for a 4K-based Android TV!

As mentioned earlier, RCA will be launching similar TVs this June in smaller and larger sizes: 50- and 60-inches to be exact. These will cost $500 and $1000, respectively. However, you might end up paying more than that, as all three TVs will be offered in a premium metal version, which will add around $100 to that base price.
