Marshmallow coming to HTC One (M8) via Verizon and T-Mobile

Mo Versi, VP of Product Management at HTC, has confirmed that Verizon and T-Mobile customers will soon be treated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the HTC One (M8).

Speaking via Twitter this week, the company figure first shared the good news with HTC One (M8) owners up and running with Verizon. It turns out that the latest build of Android’s OS will be coming on March 7, this coming Monday.
A follow-up post shared afterwards saw the HTC spokesperson turn his attention to T-Mobile customers. Versi tweeted: “Great news on T-Mobile HTC One (M8) owners! We have received technical approval on Marshmallow! OTA to start on 3/7.”
When we got our hands on the HTC One (M8) in our full review, we dubbed it the “Rolex of smartphones,” complimenting the handset on a nifty design, a gorgeous 5-inch display and decent battery performance.
The addition of Marshmallow will only improve the user experience on offer with the HTC One (M8), and owners will undoubtedly be very pleased that the wait for a fresher OS is almost over.
