Did you hear? Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at its MWC 2016 event over the weekend. Among the most wanted features, which Samsung did reintroduce this year, was a design capable of handling spills and being dunked. It turns out that the two Samsung flagships are very durable — basically waterproof — because of the IP68 certification.
We were curious to see water spilled on the phones, so Samsung’s Suzanne De Silva showed us that you absolutely can get the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge wet.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge can be pre-ordered starting today from most major carriers and retailers, and Samsung will release them on March 11.
