Sony’s new 4K HDR TVs go up for pre-order

During CES 2016, Sony unveiled its latest and greatest 4K HDR Ultra HD TV lineup. This year’s lineup consists of multiple sizes ranging from 54.6-inches at the minimum to 84.6-inches at the maximum.

All of Sony’s new 4K HDR TVs have now gone up for pre-order. Sony plans to launch all the models in stores sometime this March. The thing that interests us most about these TV’s is the smart TV platform built-in. You guessed it, just like last year’s lineup, all the new TV models run Google’s Android TV platform.

Android TV is one of the very best TV platforms out there. The platform includes many smart home features along with one of the largest selections of entertainment. Google has partnered with tens of providers to get you the very latest content right on your TV. You’ll also get access to all your music, videos, books, and movies purchased from the Play Store along with the choice of downloading apps and games as well.

The standout feature of Sony’s new TV lineup is HDR support. This should bring better contrast and a wider range of colors. All we need is more HDR content to take advantage of this technology, which should be on the way.

Sony’s new lineup doesn’t come cheap. They range between $2,499.99 and $7,999.99 in price. Here is a list of all the models up for pre-order and their prices:
