Anyone who uses Google Now has obviously seen the weather card. It’s basically white and grey and shows the weather. Nothing too fancy, but gets the job done. However, it looks like Google is testing an improved weather card with updated graphics.
The new weather cards look much more colourful and vibrate while still maintaining their simplicity. The colour also changes based on the time of day or current conditions. Interestingly, the backgrounds use gradients rather than the expected flat look. It even has fun graphics on the Today view.
One feature I do like more is there are more details about the weather. Things like air quality, sunrise and sunset times, and if there are any potential health risk are now all listed.
Currently, these new weather cards are only showing to some. By the time it’s actually released they might look the same or be totally different, who knows? However, tell us what you think in the comments below.
