Say it ain’t so! With all the praise Google has been receiving for its Android operating system, the last thing they need is a bunch of angry devs who can’t get their improved, updated apps to the Market

Are you an Android Developer? Are you having problems with this? Let us know in the comments.

    Google has not responded.
There are many threads in forums all over the net.
    Here is one of them.

well, developers in Japan didn’t receive a free N1, so that’s one complain. I also feel that the Market needs some cleanup/regulation, because there are lots of junk apps, top apps are also mostly unchanged for months, so lots of good apps don’t get exposure.

well if you guys have a good app and update it, use the contact page and I’ll be sure to post about it

I am a developer and as far as I can tell, the Market has been broken since friday.

This saturday I was trying to update an app for a client and I spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out what in the world was happening since their app didn’t show up in the Market.

Besides looking stupid towards my client because I couldn’t even update the app, I am a bit upset that I could have spared the time if Google had just announced a short status update. I know other developers have spent countless hours and maybe even days trying to figure out what was happening…

Google is eerily silent. We don’t even know if they are aware of the problem. It’s very strange that something like this can happen…

Interesting…they tout the approval process as being “a few minutes after submission”, whereas reports project Apple the App Store OK’ing submissions now being around 14 days on average (and that’s the fastest ever).

I’m the devveloper of Twitoc and Android Guys and I’ve contacted Google many times with issues. They always get back to me within 2 weeks It less. Very friendly and quick to respond after initial contact.

Sorry you guys are getting such bad luck.

I confirm that the problem with all the apps mentioned in the Android forum seem to be solved.
Tested from France on Milestone and Desire, both running 2.1-update1.
