Unnamed HTC device from Verizon Wireless discovered in HTC Sync

A few days ago, HTC Sync was updated. While this is usually no big deal, a Phandroid tipster managed to pull a few images from the updated Sync and what he gathered was an image of the already confirmed HTC Thunderbolt, the HTC Merge (which is hopefully confirmation of its future release), and this device. No buttons, a very generic looking build, and a Verizon logo stamped at the top.

Could this possibly be a new Android device that has yet to be mentioned by either HTC or Verizon Wireless? Some are saying the lack of buttons could be a gesture area, while others think its just an Android device sans the 4 typical buttons.

What do you guys think this mysterious device might be? Leave your comments below.

A thermo nuclear warhead…No only joking, I think verizon has been keeping something quiet and will probably reveal it in an update.
