A tipster recently released a list of AT&T devices that were reaching end-of-life, and the Motorola Backflip and Xperia X10 are on the list.
The Moto Backflip’s last day is February 2nd while the Xperia X10 has a little while longer, with a termination date of March 6th. Remember, this doesn’t mean that your phone won’t work if you own one of these devices. End-of-life just means that AT&T won’t be advertising these phones anymore, and no new stock of them will be arriving.
As for replacements, AT&T recommends the Flipout and Captivate as suitable devices. Or, you could wait for all the awesome devices that have just been announced at CES 2011 this week!
