Acer Iconia Tab A500, With LTE, at Verizon’s Booth

Another Android tablet sighting! We’ve actually seen this one before, but we’ll get up-close and personal with it very soon, as it’s being shown off at Verizon’s booth at CES this week. A ton of Android devices are being rumored, teased, or straight-up announced already, and CES is barely getting started. Well, add another tablet to the mix, in the form of Acer’s Iconia Tab A500. This 10.1-inch tablet boasts a Tegra-2 (which, remember, is dual-core) processor and supports 10-point multitouch. It’ll be a Verizon device, and will be fully LTE-capable — so far, we haven’t even heard a lot talk about 4G tablets, so this is pretty big news. It also sports a gyroscope and HDMI-out, and the custom Acer UI shown in the screen looks pretty attractive. I’m sure there will be hands-on news coming down the pipe today or tomorrow, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.
