Vodafone Drops The 845 From £80 To £70, Handset Still Crap

Looks like between now and Jan 31′st England’s Vodafone is discounting the 845 from £80 pounds to £70 pounds, that’s about $108 US dollars.  But we’ve got to warn you folks, this model  makes an entry level Android device look like a Nexus S.  It’s a bit on the cheap side, material wise.  And after reviewing the device, it’s apparent that the phone sports a resistive touch screen, not capacitive, revealing that the screen requires a bit of a hard press to render any responses.  But hey, if you’re looking for a cheap, and we do mean cheap, entry level Android phone with 2.1 Eclair and no hopes of ever getting an update, most likely, then this is the phone for you.  Hit the break for a quick list of device specs.

  • Android 2.1 Éclair software
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • Built in GPS navigation
  • Mobile TV compatible
  • 2.8″ screen (resistive)
  • Vodafone Sat Nav compatible
  • HSDPA capable
