Verizon “Thunderbolt” is the HTC Mecha?

by Michael Murphy
tagged , , , ,

Reports are floating around that the phone that has been referred to as the HTC Mecha and also as the Incredible HD may hit Verizon as the “Thunderbolt.” We know it’s going to be an LTE phone, and we’re hearing that it may have the designation ADR6400, which sequentially follows the Incredible, so it all adds up. Both Android Central and Droid-Life are reporting that it may be hitting Verizon in the next couple of weeks, so keep your eye out.

Hopefully we’ll see an official announcement soon, so we can clear up what the name will actually be. Mecha? Incredible HD? Or will these rumors be true and have Verizon bringing in the Thunderbolt? Which do you think is the best name? Weigh in with your two cents in the comments, and we’ll bring you word when everything becomes official.

If they’re (verizon) stick with a brand that people recognize. Incredible HD.

If I can hack this to run on somebody else’s network (not Verizon), I’ll rock it.
