Got a Samsung Epic 4G? Be prepared to open one extra present the day after Christmas. It looks like Sprint is just about ready to rollout Froyo to their Epic 4G customers and it’s not a moment too soon. We know the big news lately has been around Gingerbread, but progress is progress right? Besides, Gingerbread was just released 5 days ago, and we know it can be months before carriers get an update out.
Let’s just be thankful for once and excited that you’ll now be rocking new features like the ability to move/install apps to the SD card, improved bluetooth device support, GPS enhancements, Flash Player!!1!1, and overall a faster, smoother running system. Expect the rollout to begin on the 26th of December, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t get it right away as it is expected to be pushed out to all customers over a 4 day period.
