Looks like HTC is keeping good with their statement about Updating the HTC Wildfire to Froyo by the end of the year, or at least starting to roll it out. In a facebook post made a few hours ago on HTC’s page, the Wildfire is indeed going to begin receiving Android 2.2 in all its glory beginning in the UK and making its way across the globe hopefully reaching all users by February 2011.
We know many of you have been asking for information about an update for your Wildfire. Well, we have good news! Android 2.2 (aka Froyo) on Wildfire is scheduled to begin rolling out this week in Europe, reaching all areas of the world by February. Thanks for your patience as these updates roll out; we think you’ll enjoy the final product.
