One thing is for certain: when it comes to the Android operating system, there is no shortage of home screen applications.  The latest home screen replacement comes from HipLogic, a development firm based out of Freemont, Ca.  ”*Spark” is a brand new and innovative way to view all of your personal content within a fresh new contemporary UI.

HipLogic has secured several media partners to bring you a rich mobile home experience.  ”Modules” placed on your desktop support content from Sky (UK), CBS News, Twitter, Facebook, Weatherbug, and Groupon.  The UI is nice and smooth, and looks fantastic – especially on a Galaxy Tablet.  In addition, it supports full feeds from Facebook and Twitter, and allows you to update both – simultaneously – from the home screen.

Features include:

  • Easy Content Discovery
  • Multiple Expanded Modules (More modules added since original beta release)
  • Smooth Home Screen Performance
  • Integrated Premier Media Partners
  • “At a Glance” Capabilities
  • Short Cut To Most Used Applications
  • Access to Social Network Content (Facebook & Twitter)
  • Available in 9 Languages
  • “Real-Time” Streaming Interface
  • Deals Module (with Groupon integration)

Plus more! You can download the app by clicking here. Let us know if you think this is a worthy opponent to other home replacement apps you’ve tried before.
