Bing Launches Android Update

Bing announced yesterday that they are updating the Android version of their mobile app. The new update brings the following updates: “What’s Nearby”, “Bookmark Images”, Expand Your Search”, and “Search, Share, Decide and Book”.

First, “What’s Nearby” will automatically list the restaurants, hotels, and other store locations based on your location and search. This is good for if you are trying to find that restaurant near your hotel. Secondly, don’t allow yourself to be tied down to bookmarking the whole webpage that contains an image. By using “Bookmark Images” you will be able to bookmark the actual image itself.

Thirdly, make it easy to find anything you need, from your applications, contacts, and the web using Bing’s new “Expand Your Search” update. Finally, using “Search, Share, Decide, and Book” allows you to find the places you would want to eat or stay and then lets you either book them or share them with your company, all on the same application. If you prefer Bing’s search engine, this application is for you.
