Samsung to bring new audio products to CES 2015

Samsung audio

Samsung is going to show off some very futuristic looking audio products at CES this year, marking a definite commitment to the audio equipment section of the market. Not only do these speakers like they were ripped straight out of the video game Portal, they supposedly blast music in a full 360 degrees, so you can clearly hear whatever’s playing no matter where you’re standing in relation to the speaker. They utilize Samsung’s proprietary “ring radiator” technology that allows for a full circle of sound with the best balance of bass and treble. That seems like a fancy way of saying they just built a speaker in the shape of a circle, but if it works and sounds good, who can complain?

The speakers will be debuted with two models, with the WAM7500 being a standing model (seen above) and the WAM6500 acting as a smaller, portable speaker. They’ll both be able to seamlessly connect to television sets and mobile devices, so you’ll probably see Bluetooth compatibility plus a few other options on these. On top of those speakers, Samsung also mentioned that they’ll be introducing some newer versions of their curved soundbars to go with your super high-resolution curved Samsung Smart TV. Be sure to keep an eye out for them at CES this year.
