O2 Germany is gearing up to launch its LTE network, but they want to do a little quality control first with some actual testers. To accomplish this, they’re going to hook up some lucky individuals with free LTE for six months to test out the network before it goes live.
The customers will get a free LTE enabled modem and unlimited data for six months, data that has seen download speeds as high as 93Mbps. The trial will initially be available in Ebersberg, Munich, Teutschenthal, and Halle, and there’s no indication at this point if it will be opened up anywhere else.
