Acer to introduce 7″, 10.1″ tablets, shipping April 2011

Sounds like Acer is getting into the tablet game! The flagship Acer tablet sports a  10.1″ screen with 1280×800 screen resolution and dual-core 1GHz processor, as well as an HDMI output. Also, the tablet will have a 5 megapixel rear camera and an “HD” front-facing camera for video calls. The tablet will also feature a Gyroscope for gaming. As for the price, nothing has been confirmed, but this Acer tablet should be shipping in April 2011.

The unnamed 7″ tablet has the same screen resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm process and Flash 10.1 support. From the looks of it, this tablet will be running Android 2.2, or Froyo. There will also be DLNA support as well as 3G connectivity (what carriers?!). This smaller Acer tablet will also reportedly see an April 2011 release date.
