I patiently waited for the Nexus One. I wanted a phone designed in-part by Google and backed by Google (the N1 is the Dev Platform, and was given prior to release to all Google employees). Even though it is no longer available for purchase, it continues to be a purchase that I do not regret in any way.

The Nexus One is a super smartphone in my eyes. It handles all my communication, web browsing, and search needs in an ever-improving progression; keeping up with new contenders in the marketplace.

I feel like I’m carrying the crown jewel of technology with me every day!! Even when one day, when it is obviously out-dated, it will be a piece of history that I’ll hang onto and remember fondly.

    GOOGLE FOR THE PEOPLE!

If we own and actively use the phone that wins, do we get talkandroid swag? :P

    G2 destroys evo

lol “talkandroid swag” No you just get to feel better than every one else with bragging rights. I have an EVO and I sure as hell hope that it wins. It already wins in my book. I will instantly regret buying the EVO tho if Sony does release a PSP phone that runs android.. I will be eternally jealous because my only complaint about android over iphone’s iOS is that the iphone has much more gaming support from developers. If Sony released an android PSP phone it would be the answer to my prayers! But it will come too late as I have a 2 year contract and just got the EVO 2 weeks ago… /end rant.

My wife and I left TMobile and joined Sprint specifically for the EVO (which she first thought was a tablet). The EVO has definitely ruined all other phones for me — the screens just aren’t “normal” sized now.
