Well, folks, it’s been about 4 days since the Ultimate Android Throwdown began, but each carrier now has a champion! The winners per provider are:

  • AT&T: Samsung Captivate
  • SPRINT: HTC Evo 4G
  • T-MOBILE: HTC G2
  • VERIZON: Motorola Droid X

So here’s a moment of silence for the second place contenders:

  • HTC Aria
  • Samsung Epic 4G
  • HTC myTouch 4G / HD
  • HTC Droid Incredible

You can check out the final tallies on the round 2 page here.

But now, the real battle of the champions begins! The third round will have only 2 polls: The top Android devices for America’s largest CDMA and GSM networks now go head-to head in an all around beat down – that means AT&T vs. T-Mobile, and Sprint vs. Verizon. Remember, the next round (round 4) will include voting on the wildcard / discontinued bracket! Be sure to hit the break to get in your votes and check out the updated brackets, and let us know how your device fared / is faring in the comments!

Edit: sorry about the typo in the title, all fixed up now!
