Zephrin Lasker, CEO of New York based ad startup Pontiflex, has stated that Android is more important in terms of mobile ads than the iPhone. He points to the fact that the platform is growing at a faster rate than iOS, and that it is quicker to implement ads on Android apps.
For example, if you want to place an ad on an iPhone app, you have to resubmit it for approval after doing so. With Android, however, developers can simply include the ad code and in a couple hours they’re good to go on the Android Market.
This is just one persons opinion, so take it for what its worth. He does bring up an interesting point about the nature of both app stores, however, so we’d like to hear your opinion. Do you agree with Lasker? Does Android provide the biggest advertising potential? Leave us a comment below and let us know.
