Alright, folks. You’ve been waiting all weekend, and now it’s time for the battle to begin; we’re starting up the first round of voting for the Ultimate Android Throwdown! As per the original rules, the first round will go as follows:

Vote for your top Android device per carrier. The first round will go from 10AM CST on Monday, 11/15/10 to 12AM CST on Wednesday, 11/17/10.

You will only be allowed to get your vote in once per round, but you can vote in each category every round.

So hit the break to get your votes in for each carrier, and also to check out the full bracket list! Remember, the voting on the wildcard and discontinued bracket won’t begin until the final round of voting for the available devices on 10AM CST on Sunday, 11/21/10.

The top 2 votes per provider from this round will go head-to-head in pairs on Wednesday, 11/17/10. If you still find yourself a little bit confused, be sure to check out the original announcement.

This may be a stupid question but… How do you vote? X_x

To everyone having issues voting, just refresh the page. There was an issue with poll opening time vs. posting time, sorry! :P

Shame you haven’t bothered to include phones from elsewhere in the world. Lots of brilliant phones here in Europe which you don’t have.

WTF! Where is Nexus One!! Put it in both TMobile and ATT!!

Bah. This poll is null and void.

  • Derrick

I would like to add the contest should have also listed Nexus One for both T-Mobile and AT&T. I responded, but my votes would have been different had the Nexus One been allowed to take part.

  • Mikka Burrell

Guys, the Nexus One will be added in a later poll.

I’ll vote for Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire HD both UNBRANDED, with the Swedish carrier “3″, even though all other Swedish carriers also have them UNBRANDED, “3″ got better net.

Just curious: what’s to keep people from voting for crappy phones on the other carriers so that the good phone from their carrier will win when they go head to head later?

One of the best phones out there (phone of the year) isn’t even on the f*king list HTC DESIRE. This whole thing is utterly useless, everyone will vote for the phone they got obviously. doh
