Contest: Win 1 of 10 tickets to Lookout’s Annual Kickoff party at Google I/O 2014 [updated with winners]

It’s hard to believe that Google I/O is only a couple of weeks away. The conference itself is always a exciting, but you can’t forget the parties. Lookout’s Annual Kickoff party is always a blast, and we are excited to offer our readers a chance to get a ticket because it’s one you don’t want to miss. If delicious food, unlimited drinks, great entertainment and cool giveaways from Lookout and T-Mobile sounds like fun to you, then you will want to enter this contest right now. We have 10 tickets (plus one guest) to give away and the details are as follows:

When: Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 pm
Where: Novela, 662 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA
What: Lookout’s annual Google I/O kickoff party. Drinks will start flowing at 7:30 pm and we’ll have tasty food and awesome entertainment. Free giveaways for the first 200 who show up at the door (arrive early: we had a line around the block last year!). *Please note that this event is 21 and over.

The only caveat is that you need to get yourself to San Francisco on your own because travel arrangements are not included.

To enter, just comment below on what you want to see at this year’s Google I/O. Is it Android Wear, Android TV, a Nexus 8, or something entirely different? We will take entries through June 13 at 11:59pm EST. We will pick 10 random winners and announce them the next day.

Android TV would be nice, but I want info on either 4.5 or 5.0 please

  • Vitalik Zasadnyy

I’m waiting for an Android Wear release, but the most interesting part will be how Google is going to integrate all smart devices together (e.g. phone, glass and watch).

I’d like to see more about using btle, blue tooth low energy in apps. Currently I’m building a 4th of July App where each passing float produces a notification to find out more. Better Android documentation and insight from Google engineers would help, especially about sensor limitations and interference best practices.

  • Ostap Andrusiv

I’d like to try real Android Wear gadgets. Also, I think they’ll show Android TV. I wish Google will announce their plans on World-Wide internet via Google Satellites or something similar.
I wish Brin would enter the stage on Google’s recently-announced self-driving car!

It great to hang with fellow developers in areas that are not in our current stack of Android interests. Installed Lookout on several of my family members phones to keep them from hurting themselves. Looking forward to hearing about Android TV or Google Wear this year.

  • Austin Amoruso

I wanna see Android Home integration. I want more external hardware control made easy.

  • InWin1

Im excited to see if google integrates glass with an android watch.

  • Roxana gonzales

I can’t wait to see how much the google glasses evolved and check other wearables that google has now.

  • Kevin B.

Looking forward to seeing the partnerships between Google Glass and fashion/sport frame companies (Oakley etc.)

  • Wesley Chan

Looking forward to seeing Android TV!

  • Satish Kamurti

Hi. I’m 17. I’m an Android developer. Due to that, I want to see Android 5.0, as well as Android Wear. I want to learn how to develop and design for this platform. And I also want to see Android Studio
