Consumer Reports, it would seem, can consider themselves fans of Android, what with their latest ratings for devices running Google’s mobile OS. Android handests found their way into at least 2 of the top 3 for every large U.S. mobile carrier. Hit the break for the low down, with top phones ranked per carrier, followed by the rank for that provider:
- Samsung Captivate – 1
- HTC Aria – 3
- HTC Evo 4G – 1
- Samsung Intercept – 2
- HTC Hero – 3
- Samsung Vibrant – 1
- HTC myTouch 3G Slide – 2
- Motorola Droid X – 1
- Motorola Droid 2 – 2
- HTC Droid Incredible – 3
- LG Ally – 4
As you can see, these results are quite amazing. In fact, the only carrier that didn’t have an Android device in its top 2 spots was AT&T, which came to pass because of the iPhone 3GS – that’s right… 3GS, not 4.
