Last year, Google’s Hugo Barra left the company to become Xiaomi’s Vice President and later announced that the company had big plans set for 2014. Xiaomi has released some impressive smartphones in the past and according to a new report, the company will soon enter the US market.

Apple’s former Co-Founder, Steve Wozniak, hinted that Xiaomi “has excellent products” that is “good enough to break the America market”. Well, what kind of phone could Xiaomi unveil that would allow it to compete with the smartphone giants in the market? Take a look at the hardware specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi4 in the image above and you’ll figure it out.

According to AnTuTu’s benchmark, the Xiaomi Mi4 will sport a powerful Snapdragon 800 SoC processor clocked at 2.46 GHz, 1920×1080 resolution display, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera with an 8MP front facing camera (Impressive!), 16GB of internal storage and will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Impressive, isn’t it?

If the Xiaomi Mi4 will feature the rumored specs, it will be an outstanding smartphone and might push Xiaomi into the US market.

It is impressive, but if this was a Samsung device in question, you’d be complaining about the device not coming with Kitkat 4.4.2 out of the box and the fact that it’s running last year’s processor.

Good enough for the low end. Jelly Bean out of the box?!?!? Come on. Although the 8mp could make teens and attention whores happy with the 8mp FFC . It could be marketed for the kings and queens of the selfies.
