Verizon is pushing out update (version2.3.20.A955.Verizon.en.US/BP_C_01.09/07P) to Motorola Droid 2 owners that provides a few enhancements like being able to export your contacts to the SD card and updating contact pictures via the gallery. It also includes a nice list of improvements such as better battery life and faster GPS fixes. Seems like a nice update for the Droid 2 clan. Check out the full list after the jump.

The update will come over the air automatically to your phone, but if you want to get it now you can initiate the download by going into Settings > About phone > System updates. Grab it and tell us what you think in the comments.
Update – rooted users may want to hold off on this one. Word on the tweet is that it will break your root. I’d sit tight until those ROM gurus get through parsing through the new code.
